Mohammad Fallahi, governor of Marivan, Kurdistan Province asked the provincial Water Company to seal the 160 unauthorized water wells around Lake Zarivar, a major touristic attraction in the region, IRNA reported. The waste waters of nearby villages will soon be directed to water plants, he promised.
