Beginning August 15, Kish Airlines will operate flights to Muscat, Oman, from Shiraz and Kish Island. Flights will leave Shiraz on Wednesdays and return on Saturdays. From Kish Island, flights leave on Saturdays and return on Wednesdays, the Persian daily Donya-e-Eqtesad reports. Establishment of flight routes to neighboring countries is a policy of the Kish Free Zone Organization, which is aimed at developing tourism and promoting Kish Island’s investment opportunities.
