Following a visit to Kurdestan Province’s hotels and inns, head of Facilities and Funding Office at Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Ali Asghar Dadkhah, said the organization is committed to accelerating tourism plans in the province.
Providing low-interest loans and subsidizing tourism projects were among proposals approved during President Hassan Rouhani’s trip to the province, IRNA reported.
Vice President Masoud Soltanifar, who also heads ICHHTO, said Kurdestan has huge potentials and can become a top tourist destination, provided its infrastructures are developed.
Soltanifar attended the inauguration ceremony of Parsian Hotel construction in the provincial capital Sanandaj and visited a number of other hotel construction sites to evaluate their progress.
