The number of camping sites in Iran is set to increase by the end of the current Iranian year (March 19, 2016), according to Ebad-Reza Eslami, head of the Tourism and Handicrafts Office at the Touring and Automobile Club. Pending the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the club and Mazandaran Governorate, a camping site in Badabsourt will be established, completely funded by the club. Eslami said the club is seeking investors for other projects.
