On the occasion of the World Children’s Day, observed in Iran on October 8, the local dolls of South Khorasan join the national intangible heritage list, announced the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (CHHTO) public relations spokesperson of South Khorasan.

Inscription of dolls will take place for the first time in the country. The dolls are made of simple materials like cloth, wood and whatever can be found at home. In making of the dolls, women do not pay attention to the details and leave parts unfinished, due to their common belief that the only flawless creator is God.
