A nationwide handicrafts exhibition opened at the international fair ground of the Arvand Free Zone in Khuzestan Province on September 28, according to Arvand tourism director, Mehdi Assadian, IRNA reported.

In coordination with Cultural Heritage Organization, the exhibition will house 110 stands, each representing different ethnic groups from areas such as Khuzestan, Tehran, East Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Fars, Hormuzgan, and Lorestan,.

Glass and tile paintings, kilim, and inlaid works are among the major presentations of the event, accompanied by traditional breads and dishes, as well as folk music.

Visitors are welcome from 6pm to 11pm. The exhibition will run until October 1.
