Organizing a series of tours for Iranians who are interested in visiting the Milan Expo 2015 has been put on the agenda, of a special tourism committee, announced the tourism deputy of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO), Morteza Rahmani Movahed. The committee is part of a bigger group to organize the presence of Iran in the expo, CHTN reported.
“Travel agencies are required to obtain a permit to organize such tours, in order to ensure their compliance with the committee’s regulations,” Rahmani Movahed said.
He added that the committee has prepared a guideline to help travel agencies organize tours for different groups of travelers, including merchants, academics, and university students. The tariffs and services provided by each tour have also been defined.
Expo Milan 2015, from May 1 to October 31 in Italy, focuses on vegetation, food, and wellness, and is a global event, expected to draw more than 20 million visitors, with the theme: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.
