On the occasion of February 21, the International Tourist Guide Day, a seminar will be organized in Arak, Markazi Province, under the title ‘Entrepreneurship in the Tourism Industry’, CHTN quoted the public relations office of the provincial Iran Cultural Heritage, handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) as saying.
The provincial ICHHTO will organize the seminar. Assisting ICHHTO in the event are representatives from the NGO Toloo-Safar-Zagros, city council of Arak, House of NGOs, Entrepreneurship Center, and the tourist guides guild association of the province, director general of the provincial ICHHTO Seyed Mohammad Hosseini said.
The seminar will be held in the culture-house of Arak city on February 23. It consists of a main program and an expert workshop. Tourism economist Masih Sharif will address the meeting.
The seminar aims to help identify job prospects and entrepreneurship opportunities in the tourism industry, promote industry creativity, and highlight the areas for investment, with a focus on job creation.
An eight-hour course on creativity and entrepreneurship in the tourism industry is organized as part of the workshop. The course certificates will be issued by ICHHTO, and awarded to participants on conclusion of the seminar.
