The 1st Coffee, Tea & Café exhibition kicked off January 30 on Kish Island, alongside the Iranian National Barista Competition, according to the Kish Free Zone Organization Public Relations and International Affairs Department. The event is taking place in Kish City Hall until February 2. World famous brands in tea and coffee are among the exhibitors putting their latest products and services on display. A race to see who can brew the best coffee, a barista competition is being held for the first time in Iran under the supervision of World Coffee Events. A barista is the name given to a professional coffees brewer. The domestic and international exhibitors are predominantly manufacturers, distributors, exporters and importers, and raw material suppliers. Seminars, workshops and presentations will run concurrent to the exhibition, giving participants an opportunity to learn about the latest industry trends. The event organizers hope that high profile industry participants, the varied and exciting events planned, as well as the media coverage will will make Coffee Expo a landmark event.
