Kish Free Zone Organization participated in the 35th FITUR international tourism show in Spain as part of its program to introduce tourism attractions of the Persian Gulf island of Kish.

The KFZO stand has been set up in a 35 square meter pavilion, according to the KFZO Public Relations and International Affairs Department.

KFZO representatives were involved in negotiations with Spanish and European tour operators as well as leading Spanish bloggers involved in the tourism industry.

Morteza Saffari Natanzi, Iranian ambassador to Spain visited the KFZO stand and pledged to follow up issues related to the expansion of tourism ties between Iran and Spain.

FITUR is a key event for the international tourism sector showcasing tourism capacities of different countries, autonomous regions of Spain, tour operators, airlines, service companies, travel agencies, and hotels.

Over 9,000 companies from more than 160 countries are participating in the event.

More than 200,000 people, including 120,000 professionals from around the world, visit the show every year.

The international tourism exhibition kicked off in Madrid on January 28th and closed February 1st.
