Temporary camp sites will be prepared in Kurdistan for travelers visiting the province over the New Year holiday season between March 20 and April 2, CHTN reported.
The camp sites will be organized under the joint supervision of Kurdistan municipality and the regional Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO).
The camp sites will be equipped with drinking water, security services and, wash room, according to Teymur Khaledi, a tourism expert at the provincial ICHHTO.
Camp sites will be set up in public parks, touristic centers, and recreational centers within the cities of Baneh, Sarvabad, Dehgolan, Kamyaran, Saqqez, Divandarre, Qorveh, Sanandaj, and Marivan. They can accommodate almost 61,000 travelers. Setting up tents in the streets has been prohibited, Khaledi added.
