The temperature in Tehran will hit 40 degrees Celsius on Friday, the head of Forecasting and Early Warning Office at the Iran Meteorological Organization said. "Maximum and minimum temperatures in Tehran will respectively be 28°C and 39°C on Thursday and 29°C and 40°C on Friday," Ahad Vazifeh also told ISNA on Wednesday. Vazifeh said sporadic rainfall is predicted for Mazandaran, Golestan and North Khorasan provinces over the next three days. "The western provinces of Khuzestan, Ilam and Bushehr, as well as the city of Zabol in Sistan-Baluchestan Province will experience strong winds that could lead to dust storms," he warned.
