Meteorologists forecast Tehran’s temperature to rise in the next couple of days. Ahad Vazifeh, Iran’s Meteorological Organization’s director for forecasting and early warning, was quoted as saying by ISNA that the mercury in Tehran will reach 38°C and 39°C on Sunday and Monday respectively. Minimum temperatures are predicted to be 22°C (Sunday) and 23°C (Monday). “Both days are expected to be slightly windy,” he said. Northern provinces, particularly those bordering the Caspian Sea, will experience a drop in temperature on Sunday with the likelihood of showers on Monday.
