Meteorologists expect a drop of between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius in Tehran's temperature on Tuesday. In a statement published on their official website, Tehran Province's Metrological Organization announced that the drop in temperature will be accompanied by rainfall, strong winds and thunder across the Iranian capital. Northern areas are forecast to experience snow and fog. The temperature in Tehran on Monday was expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C. The country at large has been experiencing an unusually cold spring this year, with frequent snowfall in northwestern and western regions and showers in the northern and central provinces.
