Water Workshop in LondonWater Workshop in London

A joint Iran-Britain workshop on water management opened on Monday in London, IRNA reported.

The four-day workshop, which is organized by the Imperial College in London, is a part of the British Council Researcher Links scheme which seeks to bring together early-career scholars and experienced researchers from Iran and UK to discuss water management with subthemes of hydrology, extreme events, agriculture and food security, climate change, and water management and policy.

The objective of the workshop is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge in both directions and the building of links for future collaboration. The workshop will also include sessions on how to find and apply for research grants, and pursue funding opportunities and research partnerships with scholars overseas.
