During last Iranian year, started March 2014, Tehran Province enjoyed more clean days, comparing with the year before; ILNA quoted air pollution monitoring deputy of Tehran’s Department of Environment Mohammad Rastgari. With 44 cleaner days, Rastgari attributed the improvement in air quality to higher standard of petrol and the adoption of the Euro-4 standards by domestic car manufacturers.
