A bird thought to have gone the way of the dodo decades ago has been rediscovered in Myanmar (Burma), National Geographic reported. The bird, a Myanmar Jerdon's babbler, was discovered by a Wildlife Conservation Society expedition last May, and several more individuals were found within a few days. The brown, sparrow-size bird is one of three subspecies of Jerdon's babbler, which are found throughout the river basins of South Asia.
