Parliamentarians issued a statement on Sunday praising the Qods Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and its chief Major General Qasem Soleimani for their effective role in the fight against the self-declared Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria and their efforts to improve security in the region, Fars news agency reported.
The Qods Force has helped Iraqi and Syrian forces in their campaigns against terrorist groups through providing military advice and training.
