The deputy foreign ministers of Iran and Qatar have agreed to form a high-profile cooperation committee in Tehran in the near future. At the fourth joint political committee meeting of Iran and Qatar in Doha, Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Mohammad ibn Abdullah al-Ramihi discussed issues of mutual interest and concern. The two sides also exchanged views on ways to expand bilateral cooperation in political, economic, parliamentary and cultural spheres, IRNA reported on late Wednesday. They also took stock of developments related to cooperation between the private sectors in both countries and ways to address problems of Iranian residing in the neighboring Arab emirate. The latest developments in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Bahrain were also discussed.
