Tehran Friday Prayer Leader Kazem Seddiqi said the continued detention and planned trial of Bahraini opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman will accelerate the fall of the Al Khalifa ruling family. Addressing worshippers on Friday he said the imprisonment of Salman, who leads the country’s main opposition bloc, the al-Wefaq, runs counter to the law and human rights, press TV reported.
