In a letter to Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee extended condolences over the martyrdom of a number of Hezbollah members in a recent Israeli strike in Syria. “The Zionists’ crimes in southern Syria aim to undermine the axis of resistance against terrorism and maintain occupation,” Alaeddin Boroujerdi wrote, ISNA reported on Tuesday. A recent Israeli helicopter strike in the Syrian province of Quneitra, near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, killed at least six Hezbollah members. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced on Monday that General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi was martyred in the attack.
