China’s Ambassador to Tehran Pang Sen emphasized his country’s policy in developing cooperation with Iran in a variety of areas, especially economic and commercial ties. Pang Sen made the remark in a meeting with Kazem Jalali, head of the Majlis Research Center on Monday, IRNA reported. Pang expressed satisfaction with the expansion of Sino-Iran relations, saying, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has many capabilities and potentials to work together. We hope that by expanding the level of exchanges between the two countries and paving the way for more communication, the level of relations will improve.” He hailed the 2015 Iran nuclear deal as an “important” international multilateral agreement and said all parties are required to implement it and China supports it. Jalali, for his part, noted the importance of ties between the two countries, saying that “expanding relations between the two countries is necessary to promote economic and political cooperation.”
