An earthquake measuring 4 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted Jannat Shahr in the southern province of Fars early Sunday.
According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 03:37 local time at a depth of 10 km, IRNA reported.
There was no damage to life or property.
