Armed Forces Must Show Regular Improvement

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the possibility of military hostilities against Iran is bleak in light of ongoing political developments, but the Armed Forces must continue to upgrade their human resources and military hardware. “In terms of political calculations, there is no chance of a military confrontation; however, the armed forces must improve their human capital and equipment on a regular basis, through vigilance, efficient and agile management,” Ayatollah Khamenei said told senior commanders of the Air Defense Base of Army in Tehran on Sunday. The Leader termed the Air Defense Base a very sensitive section of the Armed Forces that is at the forefront of resistance against hostile powers, and laid emphasis on the need for the enhancement of the capabilities and preparedness of the key base.
