Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will visit Iran soon, Secretary of the Security Council of the republic Armen Grigoryan wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.  He said that he met with Iran’s Ambassador Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi. “Highly appreciating the rich history of mutual assistance and cooperation between the two countries and nations, I expressed the hope that high level political relations between our countries will help to have the same high-level economic relations, which in turn will contribute to our security and stability,” Grigoryan wrote, Mehr News Agency reported. Grigoryan  said he also spoke about the high level of relations between the two countries, underlining that Armenia, being the only Christian neighbor to Iran, has close relations with Tehran. “The ambassador welcomed the efforts of the Armenian government to deepen relations between the two countries and underlined the importance of the forthcoming visit of Nikol Pashinyan,” Armen Grigoryan wrote, adding that Sajjadi expressed readiness to help the country in energy and health sectors.
