The Norwegian ambassador to Tehran says the European country is waiting for the outcome of the nuclear talks between Iran and the major powers because it is keen to expand economic relations with Iran, which have been strained by the sanctions against Tehran.
“We are waiting for the outcome of the negotiations, because many Norwegian companies are waiting to see whether a deal will be reached between Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) or not? If it happens and the sanctions be phased out, the ground will become prepared for cooperation between Iran and Norway and mutual investment between the two countries,” Aud Lise Norheim said in an interview with Fars news agency published on Wednesday.
