The intelligence minister says the administration of President Hassan Rouhani welcomes “all political groups, parties and persuasions” with open arms and seeks their help with the aim of promoting progress and development.
“The government believes that the country’s affairs can be handled through the presence of all groups and parties and exchange of views under the banner of velayat-e faqih (the rule of supreme jurisprudence) and leadership,” Mahmoud Alavi said on Wednesday in an address to a gathering of people in the southern city of Jam in Bushehr Province, IRNA reported.
“The main solution and mechanism for development, progress and the stability of the Islamic system is to maintain cohesion, unity and integrity among people of different strata.”
