A member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said a bill signed by 200 lawmakers that would require the government to start the production of highly enriched uranium (HEU) will come up before parliament for a vote if the western countries involved in the nuclear talks with Iran "stall for time." Mohammad Hassan Asafari also told ICANA on Wednesday that if the western side wants to extend the talks, the MPs will introduce a bill to halt the negotiations.
