Ministers Confer

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Iraqi Oil Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi al-Muntafiki held a meeting in Tehran, ISNA reported on Tuesday.  The two officials discussed the ways to expand and strengthen bilateral ties and stressed the need to use the potential for cooperation to help improve the political and economic situation in the region.  They also underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation on terrorism and called for increased coordination between regional countries to deal with the "evil phenomenon".
