As President Hassan Rouhani prepares for a visit to Switzerland and Austria, the Austrian chancellor’s office announced that several bilateral agreements will be signed during the presidential visit.
The chancellor’s office said during the visit several documents of cooperation and memorandums of understanding will be signed.
In addition to talks with his Austrian counterpart, Rouhani, who will be accompanied by a high-profile economic delegation, is scheduled to hold talks with Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz during his stay in Vienna, Mehr News Agency reported.
According to the Austrian media, Rouhani, during his first visit to Europe after the US withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, is scheduled to address the Austrian Economic Chamber on bilateral cooperation.
Minister of Industry Mohammad Shariatmadari and Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi will accompany Rouhani on the trip.
The president will leave Tehran for Bern on Monday as the first stop of his two-nation tour.
