    Brazil Voices Support for JCPOA

    Deputy Foreign Minister Gholamreza Ansari and Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes Ferreira in a meeting in Brasilia underlined the importance of preserving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal despite the US withdrawal from the international agreement. In a meeting in the Brazilian capital, Ansari and Nunes Ferreira said that the European states and other signatories should do their best to preserve the JCPOA, Fars News Agency reported on Friday. JCPOA is the official name of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal from which the US withdrew in May. The other signatories of the deal, namely China, Russia, Britain, France and Germany, have said that they are doing all they can to salvage the agreement. The Brazilian foreign minister voiced his country's support for the nuclear deal.
