Turkey Collaboration Can Help Address Regional Crises

Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian Fard, Iran’s ambassador in Turkey has hailed the growing relations between the two neighbors in various fields and says the two countries can help pave the way for the resolution of regional crises. “Paying heed to the Palestinian issue can boost unity in the Muslim world and the role of Iran and Turkey are important in this regard,” Taherian Fard told a ceremony in Ankara on Friday to mark the International Quds Day, Tasnim News Agnecy reported. In addition to providing assistance for the Palestinian people, Tehran and Ankara can pave the grounds for the resolution of other regional crises through closer cooperation, he said without elaboration. “Now, more than ever, it is essential for Islamic countries and the free nations of the world to work together to defend the oppressed people of Palestine,” he said.
