Secretary-General of Hezbollah Movement Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech underlined Iran and Syria’s role in supporting his resistance movement. “The Hezbollah leader stressed that Iran and Syria were the only two countries supporting the resistance in its war against the usurper regime [Israel],” IRNA reported on Saturday, citing Lebanon’s Al Manar TV Channel. He also refuted Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita’s allegations that Iran and Hezbollah were supporting the Polisario Front, a Western Sahara independence movement. “The Moroccan foreign minister did not offer any documented evidence to his Iranian counterpart (regarding his claims),” Nasrallah said. According to Fox News, Bourita earlier said that his country’s intelligence service discovered “that the Iranian proxy Hezbollah was supplying the Polisario Front rebel group with arms.” Hezbollah in a statement earlier had refuted charges by the North African kingdom that it was arming Polisario fighters. On Thursday, the Foreign Ministry in Tehran categorically denied the “repetitive” accusations that Morocco’s foreign minister leveled, saying that the baseless charges are yet another attempt to appease some  third parties.
