Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi along with his deputies and senior directors attended a meeting of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee on Tuesday to brief the parliamentarians on the activities of the ministry, ICANA reported. The spokesperson for the committee, Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, quoted Alavi as saying that despite security threats and actions and plots to undermine the country's security, Iran is among the most secure countries thanks to intelligence forces' efforts.
