Israel Will Get Proper Response to Syria Airbase Attack

Iran said on Monday the Israel’s deadly attack on an airbase in Syria, where seven Iranian military advisors were killed, would soon be responded. Speaking at the weekly press briefing on Monday in Tehran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Bahram Qassemi, said, “Israel will receive the necessary response sooner or later. They cannot take [such] action  with impunity. “Resistance forces in the region can respond at the right time and in the right place,” IRIB News quoted him as saying. He expressed condolences to the families of the military advisors, and warned Tel Aviv that “gone are the days of hit and run.” Israel struck the T-4 airbase in the city of Homs last week.  Interfax news agency cited the Russian Defense Ministry as saying that two Israeli F-15 warplanes carried out the strikes from Lebanese airspace. Ali Akbar Velayati, foreign policy advisor to the Leader of Islamic Revolution, said last week that “this crime will definitely not go unanswered.”
