Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Thursday that there is no problem in the country that cannot be resolved through cooperation between people and authorities.

"We are aware of livelihood difficulties and other problems facing our people, but I believe there is no unsolvable problem in the country. I will speak to the people in this regard in the coming days," the Leader said in a meeting with Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, the newly reelected chairman of the Assembly of Experts, and other members of the clerical body.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the resistance put up by the Iranian people and government in the face of pressure from the enemies in the economic, political, security, military and cultural fields will eventually pay off, his official website reported.

"Some people are unhappy with this situation and think that the Islamic Republic of Iran has started a war. However, this view reveals lack of knowledge because the mere nature of the Islamic Revolution and a religion-based government, its goals and ideals—including monotheism, social justice, confronting oppression and supporting the oppressed—make the enemies of the religion fight against us."

He added that according to divine promises, those seeking truth will be victorious in the end if they continue to show patience and perseverance, work hard and remain vigilant.

"By sticking to these values, realization of this promise is a certain, irreversible divine tradition," Ayatollah Khamenei noted.

The Leader called on the country's officials, scholars, academics, media people and all influential people to effectively fulfill their duties to build a better future for themselves and the country.

"There is a youthful, hardworking and vibrant movement in the country which has consolidated my belief in a better future for Iran more than ever," he noted.

In addition, he stated that the active presence and practical guidance of the people were the main reasons behind the success of the late Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, who led the 1979 Islamic Revolution to victory.

"Sticking to these principles will bring about God's support and assistance; and when we receive God's help, we will be able to confront aggressive powers bravely, and at the same time, in a smart and effective manner."

Ayatollah Khamenei described the role of the Assembly of Experts in the country's affairs as "crucial", adding that the body is a living example of the strong link between politics and religion.
