Pressure, Propaganda Not to Hinder Iran’s Progress

Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said sanctions and the propaganda campaign by Iran's adversaries will fail to undermine the revolutionary foundations of the Islamic Republic.
"The enemies and ill-wishers of the nation expected that even the name of Islam and revolution would not remain by the time [the revolution] is passed down to today's young generation and the US would dominate all affairs of the country," Ayatollah Khamenei said, according to his official website.
"They might continue hurting us by economic sanctions and propaganda but such moves will never block the great movement of the Iranian nation," he said in a meeting with the organizers of and participating students in field trips to the former war zones in southern and western parts of the country targeted by the 1980-1988 Iraqi imposed war.
