Deputy Intelligence Minister Mohammad Pourfallah said on Sunday that the government has shut down the offices of 17 satellite channels in Iran, which purportedly promote Shiite Islam. "The enemies have established 17 satellite channels in the name of Shiite , whose offices in the country have been closed by the Islamic Republic system," Fars news agency quoted him as saying.
