The Azerbaijani parliament on Tuesday approved the Azerbaijan-Iran joint declaration on friendship and cooperation, the chairman of the parliament's committee on international and inter-parliamentary relations told the Azerbaijan Press Agency. Samad Seyidov said the declaration calls for respecting the sovereignty of each other, protecting bilateral relations and taking necessary measures to prevent the activities of organizations, groups and individuals that aim to undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries.
