Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran on Wednesday for the Russian capital Moscow. "Zarif will visit Moscow within the framework of regular consultations between the foreign ministers of Iran and Russia, in particular on the issue of the JCPOA," Bahram Qasemi was quoted by Fars News Agency as saying on Wednesday.   Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or simply the nuclear deal, was signed after years of negotiations in July 2015, between Iran and P5+1 group of nations comprising the United States, Russia, China, France and the United Kingdom plus Germany. Zarif will then head to Brussels to meet EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, and the foreign ministers of France, Germany and the United Kingdom on Thursday to discuss the implementation of the international agreement, Qasemi added. Iran and Russia have cooperated on the Syrian crisis and were instrumental in ending the rule of the self-styled Islamic State terrorist group in the war-ravaged country late last year. The two sides are also supporting the peace talks aimed at charting a course for post-war Syria.
