Enemies Biding to Time to Inflict Harm

Leader of Islamic Revolution said hostile powers have always been waiting for an opportunity to deal a blow to the Iranian nation, noting that they have mobilized all efforts to harm the country through inciting violence in recent protest rallies in several cities.  "In the developments of the recent days, enemies of Iran joined hands to create trouble for the Islamic system, utilizing various means at their disposal, including money, weapons, politics and intelligence services," Leader.ir quoted Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as saying. He was speaking in a meeting on Tuesday with visiting families of martyrs of the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988) in Tehran.  Several Iranian cities have been the scene of anti-government street protests in recent days. The early protests demanded a better economic situation and better living conditions, but sporadic violence has erupted during the protests, causing a number of casualties. "What blocks the enemy and its hostile moves is the nation's spirit of courage, sacrifice and faith," the Leader said, adding that he has more to say about the recent unrest that will be stated in an appropriate time.
