Tunisian lawmakers have signed a condemnation of recent statements by Arab League against Iran and Hezbollah. Over 41 lawmakers have condemned the results of the meeting, pleading with the government in Tunis to withdraw support for the motion, Al-Masdar News reported on Saturday. At an Arab League meeting in Cairo last Sunday, Saudi Arabia launched a discussion on how to "confront" Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah. In a final statement, the league accused Tehran of "interfering" in the affairs of Arab nations and branded Hezbollah a "terrorist organization".
