Top-Level Army Appointments

In separate decrees on Sunday, the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei appointed three top-level army commanders.

Lieutenant General Mohammad Hossein Dadras, a former commander of the Army’s Ground Forces, was appointed as second-in-command of the Army.

Former Navy commander, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, has been appointed to the post of deputy Army commander for coordination, IRNA reported.

Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, who formerly served as deputy Navy commander for planning, has been promoted to Navy chief.
