    Parliamentary Delegation to Visit Ukraine

An Iranian parliamentary delegation will visit Kiev, Ukraine, on Nov. 13, a lawmaker said. Speaking to IRNA on Thursday, Mohammad Javad Jamali said the delegation will confer with high-ranking Ukrainian officials on bilateral ties for boosting economic cooperation between the two sides and strengthening political and cultural relations. "Improving Iran-Ukraine ties, as two important and influential nations, will benefit both countries," Jamali said. "Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Relations Commission, will lead the Iranian delegation." Ukraine's First Vice Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, who is also the country's minister of economic development and trade, visited Tehran in early August for the inauguration ceremony of President Hassan Rouhani. During his meeting with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif at the time, the Ukrainian official said his country was ready "to work with Iran in different fields, including economy, investment, science, research and education."
