Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marzieh Afkham strongly condemned a deadly suicide attack on anti-IS forces in south Baghdad on Wednesday, which killed at least 38 people. Afkham described the attack as a "desperate action" by terrorists in response to recent tremendous victories of the Iraqi army and volunteer forces in the fight against the so-called Islamic State (IS) militant group, ISNA reported on Thursday.
