Israeli Airstrike on Gaza Decried

Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Monday strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip, describing the attack as “brutal”.
“The blood-thirsty Zionist regime is trying to break the will of the oppressed people of the occupied territories to guarantee its own security by killing Palestinian youths,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said in a statement on Monday, Tasnim News Agency reported.
“This is while seven decades of crimes, bloodshed and child-killing could not weaken the determination of this patient and courageous people at all,” Qasemi was quoted as saying by the official website of the Foreign Ministry.
At least eight Palestinian men lost their lives and more than 10 others sustained injuries when Israeli fighter jets bombarded and destroyed a lifeline tunnel in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip earlier in the day.
