Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan Qashqavi held a meeting with his Danish counterpart Ole Egberg Mikkelsen in Tehran on Monday. In the meeting, Qashqavi said Iran is ready to increase cooperation with Denmark to help combat extremism, terrorism, organized crimes, and drug trafficking. Commenting on the emerging US-led coalition against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, he said any campaign against terrorism which does not address the root causes of the issue will go nowhere.
