Armenia Prime Minister to Visit

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan will travel to Iran on a two-day official visit on October 9 at the invitation of First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri.
The Armenian official will call on President Hassan Rouhani, Jahangiri, and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Armen Press reported.
Karapetyan will also visit Ararat Sports Club, where he will meet with the Armenian community, including business leaders.
In an interview on August 1, Karapetyan described Iran-Armania relations as “exemplary and unique”, adding that “The friendship between the two neighbors is so firm that it is just necessary to further develop and deepen them by maintaining the commonalities uniting us for centuries. This is the reliable base and stronghold of our relations.”
