President Hassan Rouhani says the expatriates who work in the private sectors of other countries are a “great asset” that should be tapped to help develop the country.
The president made the remarks in a meeting with nine new ambassadors and consuls to foreign countries and cities on Tuesday, IRNA reported.
He said envoys should make efforts to pave the way for using the expatriates’ capabilities to facilitate the country’s development.
The president also said envoys are obliged to take measures to counter the western media’s propaganda campaign against Iran.
