Announcement of Cabinet Nominees on Tuesday

President Hassan Rouhani plans to announce the names of his candidates for Cabinet posts to the parliament on Tuesday, according to the spokesman of Majlis Presiding Board.
Speaking to Tasnim News Agency, Behrouz Nemati added that after Rouhani’s swearing-in ceremony on Saturday, it was heard that he would propose Cabinet members to the parliament for a vote of confidence on Tuesday.
“Immediately after the introduction of Cabinet nominees to the Majlis, the lawmakers will begin vetting them and examining their future plans in specialized commissions,” he said.
Rouhani was sworn in as the chief executive in the parliament ceremony attended by high-ranking officials from over 100 countries and international organizations.
Most top Iranian officials and eight foreign presidents attended the ceremony.
EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, also took part in the inauguration ceremony.
Rouhani secured a second term in the May 19 presidential election by winning 57% of the vote.
